Casting Workshops at Sonder for Leading Roles

A step up from the traditional Casting Director Workshop.  

Designed for Professional and emerging Actors with prior training, this two day workshop will test your skill and simulate the casting process for Leading Roles.
 

Whether you’re wanting to stay sharp or demystify the process, this workshop is ideal for Actors wanting to challenge themselves with complex material under pressure. 

Each Actor will prepare a Leading Role audition (usually between 5-8 pages), assigned by the Casting Director based on your materials provided (Headshot, CV, Demo).
 

On Saturday each Actor will receive a 35 minute coaching from Shane Savage.
On Sunday you will present your work to Casting in a zoom session and receive notes and redirects.
Each Actor will receive 25 minutes with Casting, and an additional simulated Zoom Callback Session and/or Zoom Chemistry Test of one of their scenes at the end of the day.
 

Both days will conclude with a Q&A.
 

Participants are expected to audit the entire workshop and must read for one other actor.

While participants are expected to be present for the duration of the workshop, we will schedule call times and do our best to accomodate your availability.
 

Location: Online via Zoom
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 4:30pm

Participant Cost: $360 (inc. tax)
*At the conclusion of each day, participants will receive recordings of their work.

Auditing passes available.
